Welcome Kyle and Stephanie
I found out this week that Stephanie Charaska and Kyle Gyondla will be joining me as design assistants on the Summer Studio Theatre Company project. They are both undergraduate theatre scene design students at the University of Illinois. I look forward to working with them on the scenic model, properties, and painting.

How did you 'find' your summer design assistants? Or did someone else select them? Are they receiving course credits? or are they interns, or volunteers? Did you ask for them? I am wondering how other people or groups could 'find' design assistants>
The producer hired them for me. It's common in theatre to have one or two design assistants for the scene designer due to the work load. Kyle and Stephanie will also be part of the Summer Studio Theatre Company scenery and props crew once May comes around. Thanks for asking, Lee.
